EDITORIAL POLICY
The Journal of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture has been a platform for scholarly communication since its establishment in 1980 at the then Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Niš. With the subsequent founding of the study program in architecture, the faculty evolved into the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of its academic mission. In line with this development, the journal expanded its scope to encompass a broad range of topics in both civil engineering and architecture, serving as a forum for the dissemination of original research, theoretical studies, and practical innovations. Over the years, it has upheld its commitment to academic excellence by publishing contributions from leading professionals, researchers, and academics, while also encouraging submissions from emerging scholars and practitioners. This inclusive approach fosters a dynamic exchange of ideas and ensures the journal remains a relevant and valuable resource for the advancement of knowledge in the built environment disciplines.
The journal accepts and publishes four types of scientific papers:
- Original scientific articles
- Review papers
- Preliminary or short communications
- Scientific critiques and polemics
